Jessie Batten

Inspired by the creative energy of hair salons at an early age in her family’s salon, Jessie’s natural abilities set the foundation as she became a professional stylist in her own right. Always ready to challenge herself, Jessie moved to Colorado to develop her talents in a fast-paced salon just outside of Denver. While in Denver, motivated to be on the leading-edge of the industry, Jessie introduced herself to the world of a corporate design team and was a member of the Artistic Team for over 10 years. Through her affiliation with the design team, Jessie was able to travel the country educating on- and off-stage and was mentored by some of the top award winning stylists/artists in the industry.

Her next move took her to North Carolina, where she was co-owner Marigold Parlour of one of Raleigh’s premier salons in downtown Raleigh for 15 yrs. Now under the talented ownership of Brooke, Jessie is continuing her passion for the art of hair behind the chair. Jessie is driven to continue her education and challenge herself to stay in trend with the ever evolving hair industry. Training with Vidal Sassoon on haircutting techniques and also taking classes with many top hair color artists from various companies on innovative products and placements. Jessie continues to cultivate her creativity by involving herself and her salon in the Raleigh arts community. She has partnered with many local designers and photographers, employing her artistry in local shoots and professional portfolios.

Jessie’s creative intuition is the driving force behind her continued success as an artist and entrepreneur. Her greatest dividend comes from sharing her talents with her clients, her community, and other professionals.
